Help, I have a new membership but I don't know where to go!
We recommend that you take a tour of our facility if you have not done so. Your tour guide can answer many of the questions that you have or get you connected to the appropriate professional staff person. Tours are available at any time. Contact the front desk to start you tour today!
Where do I get a locker?
Lockers are available in the locker rooms but do not have locks on them. We recommend that you bring a lock and keep your items securely stored in the locker.
What is the Family / Special Needs Locker Room?
This is individual locker room is co-ed and designed for family convenience. Use this for opposite gender children. Lockers are available for use in the Family Locker Room Hallway.
Can my opposite sex child come with me into the locker room?
Children under the age of one may use the locker room with their parent. Please use the Family Locker Room with children ages one and older.
Where do I find a fitness trainer?
Fitness Trainers are available for an extra fee. They will guide you to the quickest way to fitness.
How do I register for a class?
You may register for a class at the front desk located in the lobby at the entrance. Payment is required at the time of registration.
Membership Questions
Can I join the YMCA for a short time?
The YMCA is a membership organization. Memberships may be purchased in 3-month and annual contracts. We do not charge a sign-up fee.
Can I pay my membership fees monthly?
Yes, however it must be done on a Bank Draft Plan from a checking or savings account. The Bank Draft authorizes the YMCA to draw funds from the account you designate for membership fees only. Each draft is drawn on the 1st and the 15th of each month.
When will I receive my membership card?
Your picture will be taken and you will be given a membership card immediately upon joining. Please keep this card with you at all times when using the facility.
If I pay for my membership out of a bank draft does it automatically stop at the end of the year?
The bank draft membership is a continuous, ongoing, perpetual membership, until the Winona Family YMCA receives proper written cancellation.
How do I cancel my bank draft?
Cancels must be done by the 15th of the month to cancel the next months draft. Click here for the form.

Can I bring a guest into the Y at no charge?
We appreciate our members being ambassadors in the community and invite them to bring guests to the YMCA. Guests must register at either entrance. A photo ID is required along with completion of liability waiver and guest information card. Guests receive one free visit per year. After that, they will need to purchase a daily membership (maximum of two per year) - $10 for youth, $11 for adult. A guest must be 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
