Enjoy camp year-round!
We have an amazing property that we love sharing! Camp Wenonah's trail systems are accessible for active Winona Family YMCA members for hiking, mushroom hunting and foraging, mountain biking, and seasonal snowshoeing or cross country skiing. All other facility and equipment access is available for rent. This includes: yurt, fire pit, high and low ropes course (only with YMCA trained and authorized staff), amphitheater, pavilion, and barn with bathroom and kitchen access.
In order to access the Camp Wenonah property, please fill out the access request form and submit via email to Alexa Shapiro at firstname.lastname@example.org for approval. A form will not be required for each request to visit the site, but it is required that you notify us via email for any future visits to ensure maintenance, and site use information. The Winona Family YMCA reserves the right to revoke access at any time for any reason, up to and including, misuse of the location or damage to the property. Please see Member Code of Conduct for further details.
While utilizing the Camp Wenonah property:
It is expected that participants hike only on designated hiking trails
Practice the seven Leave No Trace Principles
All waste must be packed out of the property; no trash should be left at Camp Wenonah
All property should remain in the condition it was found
Any damages or noted changes in trails and conditions should be shared with the YMCA
For trail conditions and information, see the kiosk at the entrance of the Camp Wenonah property.
If you discover any maintenance concerns, please submit them through the form below. Maintenance concerns will be addressed to ensure safe access to the trail systems for all users.
No access to the property will be granted during the Camp Wenonah season, beginning approximately the second Monday of June and ending the second Friday of August. Camp is from 9 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday. Access during the camp season is available on the weekends.
