NEW MASK REQUIREMENT

Following the City of Winona's city-wide mask order, the Winona Family YMCA requires all staff, members, and participants to wear a mask when entering or exiting our facilities, and when transitioning between areas and activities. The order takes effect at 12:01 am on Friday, July 10 and goes for 30 days. The proclamation could be extended. A mask order protects the health and safety of our community and will help keep our businesses open. To learn more visit https://www.cityofwinona.com/maskorder/

We love having members back in the building! The current arrangement is temporary and will change as guidance and information allow. Please check back for updates. If you do not receive our electronic newsletter with updates and would like to be added, please email jsobeck@winonaymca.org.

Your safety is our number one priority

We want to keep our members and staff safe and protected while they use our YMCA, so we are following strict guidelines that align with recommendations from the CDC, YMCA of the USA, health care professionals and our insurance provider. For the good of all, it is vital that everyone cooperate. Thank you for doing your part to help us!

Reservations allow us to manage the number of people in our facility and programs to ensure that we follow state guidelines. We take same-day reservations if spots are available, by phone or online.

Effective Tuesday, September 8 we are allowing use of guest passes and selling day passes. Users must follow the same procedures, including:

  • Always have a reservation

  • Sign waiver supplement upon first time returning to the YMCA after reopening

* We are deeply saddened to announce that our small pool has exceeded its life expectancy and will not reopen. This pool has meant a lot to the YMCA and its members.  From aqua fit classes to volleyball to swim lessons, social time and water therapy, it has been a vital component to our Y community.  We hope that you will try the large pool. We are adding stairs for better accessibility and raising the temperature to match the temperature of the pool in the new building.
