Join us for school year fun and allow your child to learn, grow, and thrive at the Y, while creating lasting friendships and developing lifelong skills! We offer flexible daily After School childcare for children in K-6th grade. Transportation from schools to designated site location is provided daily by Winona Area Public Schools. Our after-school care program strives to create a safe and welcoming environment for children and promote the YMCA core values through lessons focused around youth development, healthy living, and social-emotional learning. Children have time for games and activities, a healthy snack, daily outdoor and gym time, playtime, arts and crafts and team building. In addition, homework time with the help of well-trained counselors. Registration is limited.

Behavior Policy

Registration Dates
Opens Monday, July 17th for the 23-24 school year.

Program Dates
We accommodate all days the public schools are in session between September 6th - June 6th, with the exception of holidays that the YMCA is closed. See No School Care tab for more information on all day care on closed days.

Times
YMCA/Central (YMCA) 2:45-5:30pm (open to students from most public and private schools).

Bluffview Montessori 2:00 -5:30 pm (Bluffview Montessori families only) Registration is limited. 

Transportation:

Public Transportation is provided to the YMCA from WAPS from all school expect Riverway Learning Community and Goodview Elementary.

New bus policy for 23-24 school year: "Families must pick one location for drop off either home or the YMCA. Unless they have a split family, then they can accommodate both families."

Daily Rate
A $15 registration fee is required upon registration once per school year. Winona YMCA Member's registration fee will be applied to ASC cost for the first weeks.
$10/day for the first child; $8.50/day for each additional within the family.
Families may choose the number of days care is needed.

Registration & Payment
Program registration can be completed online or at the Front Desk. Emergency contact and payment forms must be completed, along with current immunization records prior to the first day of care. Financial assistance is available for those meeting income guidelines; the application process is easy and confidential. 

Please note there is a $15 processing fee for late registrations. 

Payment On File
All After School Care Monthly Participants are required to have a payment method on file within their account prior to September 1st, or the 1st of the beginning month of childcare. If a payment is returned or funds are unavailable, a notice will go out providing parents or guardians 7 days from original payment date to resubmit payment. If payment is not made within 7 days, the child/children will be removed from the program until payment is received.
